The Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University (FT UNY) continues to provide support and appreciation for various positive student activities, both academic and non-academic in order to increase insight and experience. One manifestation of this experience is being a member of the FT UNY Student Organization (Ormawa). The leadership of the ormawa continues to change along with the turn of the year. Hundreds of new administrators from 15 ormawa throughout the FT UNY packed the KPLT Hall 3rd floor (27/01/20220) to attend the inauguration. The song Indonesia Raya was solemnly sung by all who attended to mark the beginning of the opening of the event.

The inauguration of the FT UNY Ormawa management was carried out by the Dean of FT UNY, Prof. Herman Dwi Surjono, Ph.D. This event was also attended by faculty leaders, department administrators, and ormawa supervisors. In his remarks, the Dean of FT UNY said that after the inauguration, his party hoped that all components would immediately work to carry out their duties and authorities according to the responsibilities in their respective divisions, as well as to prepare for major events in the future.

Prof. Herman also gave direction to the new FT UNY Ormawa Management to always maintain cleanliness in the PKM FT UNY building and so that each department could later develop entrepreneurship.

This inauguration was attended by students who had been legally determined by the KPU FT UNY in their respective positions. They consist of the Chairman of DPM (Maulana Evendi), Chairman of BEM (Muhammad Fikri Maulana), Chairman of Himagana (Fazal Almainur), Chairman of HMTSP (Hamid Imam Shalihin) Chairman of Automotive Hima (Riyan Prasetyo), Chairman of Engineering Hima (Ahmad Amanullah Robbani), Chairman Himanika (Ardian Ibnu Setyadi), Chairman of Hima Elektro (Andika Wijaya Dwi Putra), Mas'ul UKM KMM (Iqbal Amanah), Head of UKMF LPMT Phenomena (Ade Listanto), Chair of UKMF Sports (Dwiky Nur Prihanza), Chair of UKMF Matrix (Dedy Wahyu Ardyanto), Chairperson of UKMF KPALH Carabiner (Tiyo Awaludin Maseno), Chairperson of UKMF Carnival (Hanna Erdiani Putri), and Chairperson of UNYtech TV (Anang Ma'ruf Budiyanto).
